Create new tooling required from CAD design stage through initial implementation stage including all input documentation and estimates of tool life. Monitor implementation of sample jobs and new runs involving inspection of set up tooling and initial set-up, evaluation of results generated and modify as needed.  Interface with Manufacturing Engineering for total product impact of tolerances produced and maintain documentation. Communicate with tool suppliers to solve problems relating to manufacture, coatings and quality/tolerances as often as necessary. Assist tool crib personnel with tooling-related questions as needed. Monitor entering/updating tooling data to MRP computer as required. Adhere to company Quality Policy and follow appropriate procedures as documented in the training agreement.
